When Edmond Charles "Butch" LaBrie was born on March 31, 1891, on his father's homestead in Spink, South Dakota, when his father, Alfred LaBrie, was 37 and his mother, Agnes Lefort, was 31. He married Anna Pepin on January 8, 1913, in Turton, South Dakota. They lived in Turton nearly all their lives and by trade for a time he worked for Brickell Store--Dakota Warenouse in Watertown South Dakota. They returned to Turton to care for his parents. Pep was a telephone operator for several years and in later years Burch helped at Wes LaBrie's hardware store.He died on April 12, 1958, in his hometown at the age of 67 after a lingering illness, and was buried in Turton, South Dakota. Pep went to Redfield and worked at the hospital, she married Daniel Bevens and he passed away in Aug 2, 1962. [1][2][3][4][5][6][7][8][9][10][11][12][13][14][15]
