Daughter of Josiah H. Kyle 1831–1878 Sarah Ann Bullard 1837–1917

Lucinda Jane Kyle was born on January 13, 1861 in Arkansas. Her father was Josiah H. Kyle and her mother Sarah Ann Bullard.[1]

Lucinda married Tobias Washington Honea on November 24, 1878 in Johnson County, Texas.[2] In 1880, she lived in Hill County, Texas.[3] In 1881, her first daughter Elvira was born, Jasper Major in 1884, Mittie Lou in 1886, Ora Della Erdella in 1887, Josephine in 1889, Sorrel Josephus in 1890, John Manley in 1893, James Cass in 1895, and Clara Marchia in 1900. She lived in Johnson County, Texas.[4]

In 1920, she lived on Hiss and Sandell Road in Hico, Hamilton County, Texas. Most of the children were grown and out of the house by now, but their youngest Clara still lived at home.[5]

In 1930, she was a widow and lived in Johnson County, Texas on Klondike Road with her daughter, Jospehine's family.[6]

In 1930, she lived on Mustang-Iredell Road in Bosque County, Texas with her daughter, Clara's family.[7]

Lucinda died on September 2, 1943 in Walnut Springs, Bosque County, Texas.[1] She was buried at Hico Cemetery in Hico, Hamilton County, Texas.[8]
