Hi Robert! I hope you can help me! I am working on my genealogy and line. I match DNA for people who have Vincent Hobbs Sr up their line. I think James J Hobbs 1800-1889 is my line born 19 July 1800 Virginia; died 30 Jan 1889 Polk, Polk Co Missouri. Abner is his father. But I'm having trouble linking Abner to Vincent but DNA confirms he does somehow. I'm trying to figure my line: I thought it was my Dad William Earl Hobbs 1931-2017. Thanks for responding re: Hodgkins-179.

I've updated the "Warning Msg" posted on same, explaining what's been done to correct the offending profiles. We still don't have a source for the mothers d. date. The FAG ref' was for a Sarah Griffen, who was m. to a Daniel, so that has been removed, and the sibling date warning went away when 435 was merged into 179..

I don't create these warning msg's, the system does it if you happen to be editing an offending profile.

Wedgewood-73 has no e in the middle

Hi Robert, thanks for your input into the Whitcher/Whittier family line. Because you asked for a merge, I did so with the information that I have--namely that with only two proven exceptions that I can find in Reuben and his son Joseph, the most common spelling is Whitcher. My grandmother is a Whitcher, descended from a long line of Whitchers and has extensive family history and documents. I stand with Whitcher. By the way, with a British accent, Whittier and Whitcher sound the same. Hence the confusion for us descendants and the various spelling.

Do you have some sources you can add to Suzannah Lutz (Lutz-847) that verify her parents? There aren't any sources listed on her father's profile at all, and her own profile only has a secondary source that I used that just provides a tree of names, and nothing more. Regretfully, I can't look at the text of any of the sources on her mother's profile, so I don't know if any of those provide the details.
