Biography

William was born in 1814. He was the son of John Jacob Kuhn and Margaret Brandon. He had at least five sons and three daughters with wife Caroline Steele Coon between 1852 and 1867. In the 1870 Census his occupation is listed as "Associate Judge". In the 1880 Census taken in early June, he is listed as a widower and his wife is listed as well, although she died in Oct 1879. Daughter Louisa is listed as keeping house. William died on October 14, 1905, in Forest, Pennsylvania, at age 91, and was buried in Clarington, Pennsylvania.
