Stanley Kubrick was an American filmmaker and photographer. He is considered one of the greatest filmmakers of his era, directing such classics as 2001: A Space Odyssey and Full Metal Jacket.
Stanley Kubrick was born on 26 Jul 1928 in The Bronx, New York City, USA.[1] son of Jacob Leonard Kubrick and Sadie Gertrude Perveler.
Stanley died of a heart attack on 7 March 1999 in England a few days after hosting a private screening of his latest film, Eyes Wide Shut.[2][3]
He was buried in Childwickbury Manor.[4]
He was married to German painter and actress Christiane Susanne Harlan at the time of his death.
