Raymond and Roland are twins.
Raymond J. Kronberger, age 83, of Butternut, died on Monday, Dec. 24, 2018 at his home. He was born on May 17, 1935 in Park Falls, the son of Frank X. and Leona (Hilgart) Kronberger. His early life and schooling were in Park Falls. On Sept. 10, 1955, he married Gloria Bruch. Raymond worked for the Flambeau Paper Mill for many years. Ray loved his family and was a very giving man. He loved the woods and was a builder. He built every building on his property. His passion was fishing and hunting.
He is survived by his wife, Gloria of Butternut; his son, Scott (Carol) of Butternut; his daughter, Cheryl Bucheger of Neenah; three grandchildren: Amy (Dan Ayers) Kronberger of Butternut, Raymond (Julia) Bucheger of Washington D.C., and Julie (Jim) Cooney of Milwaukee; two great-grandchildren: Mabel and Max Bucheger; four brothers: Tom (Rosie) Kronberger, Ted (Marlene) Kronberger, Twin brother Roland (Doris) Kronberger, and Peter (Diane) Kronberger, all of Park Falls; and many nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his daughter, Reneé; his son-in-law, Bill Bucheger; his brothers: Frank “Sonny” and Donald Kronberger; his sister, Donna Palmer; two half-brothers: Robert and Bill Kronberger; and two half-sisters: Margaret Packard and Dorothy Koch. [1]
