1867 Orphan's Court appointing John as George Samuel's guardian.1867 To the Judges of the Orphans Court of Somerset County. The petition of J. O. Kimmel (who was the attorney for Johan George Kring, Jr) respectfully represents: That George S Kring, son of Michael Kring, is a minor under the age of 21 years, that he is weak and feeble-minded and is entitled to an estate from his father’s estate as well as from his grandfather’s estate, that the sisters desire a guardian be appointed to take care of his person and estate, and petition the court to appoint a guardian for that purpose. George Samuel Kring’s brother, John Kring, became his guardian.
