Note N95Clemintine was part French. She was a "French Seamstress" and made all of Marguerite's clothes from pictures in magazines. She spoke native tongue, Polish. She could read and write. She arrived in the United States in 1849. Clemintine was naturalized in 1854. According to her death records and tombstone, Clemintine was born in 1845. The1900 and 1910 census show that she had ten children but only eight were still living. She was doing "very poorly" in August of 1933, four months before she died according to T.M. Dickson's 1933 diary.
