Biography

Cecelia V. Koter was born on 09 September 1910 in Michigan, United States ^[1] to Stanley Koter and Mary Ziombkowski. In 1920, Celia lived with her parents and siblings in Grand Rapids Ward 1, Kent, Michigan, United States. ^[2]

Cecelia attended school through eighth grade. ^[3]

In 1940, Cecelia was living in as a lodger in the home of Fred and Mary Miller in Ward 1, Grand Rapids, Grand Rapids City, Kent, Michigan, United States. She was self-employed mending hosiery. ^[4]

Cecelia passed away on 3 February 1991 in Grand Rapids, Kent, Michigan, United States. ^[5] She is buried at Resurrection Cemetery in Wyoming, Kent County, Michigan, United States. ^[6]

Cecelia's obituary reads: "Mrs. Cecelia V. Siwicki, aged 80, passed away Sunday, February 3, 1991 at Springbrook Manor. She is survived by her husband, Albert; her son and daughter-in-law, Bernard and Bette Siwicki of Burke, Virginia; her grandson, David Siwicki; her brother, Louis (Irene) Koter of Grand Rapids; her sisters, Esther (Raymond) Karczynski of Anaheim, California, Mary (Aloysius) Walendzik; brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law, Martha Koter, Burt (Lee) Maksymoski, Stella Klimas, all of Grand Rapids, Helen Siwicki of Milwaukee, Wisconsin, John (Sadie) Rosloniec of Grand Rapids and many nieces and nephews. The Funeral Mass will be held Wednesday at 10am at Sacred Heart Church, 156 Valley NW. Interment Resurrection Cemetery. Friends may meet the family from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9pm on Tuesday at the Shawmut Hills Chapel where the Rosary will be recited Tuesday evening at 7:30pm. ^[7]
