Martha Kahokuokalanikealohapauole Kong’s 2nd great grand aunt, Harriet (Hattie) Kamakanoenoe Rebecca Sniffen was married to George Washington Akau Hapai, who was a grand nephew of Kamehameha I and a great grandson of Kamanawa. Kamanawa is one of the twins noted on the Hawaii Coat of Arms. Kamanawa is depicted on the left holding a spear and his twin brother Kame'eiamoku is depicted on the right holding a kahili.
