Hello Bill. I've been researching my Knowles line for quite some time in order to prove my descendance from Mayflower passengers Stephen and Constance Hopkins. My hope is to join the Mayflower Society through them. I have one sticking point. I can document back to my 4th great grandparents, Capt. Edward and Polly (Knowles) Kingman. The Silver Books give the generations following Stephen Hopkins and his daughter Constance ending with Thomas and Elizabeth (Walker) Knowles. I've seen Polly's parents in several places given as Thomas Knowles and Elizabeth Walker. However, they are always unsourced. Does such proof exist that The Mayflower Society would accept? They are my last link in the chain. Thanks for any assistance you can give.
Hello Bill This is my family that I have been researching since the 70s Grew up right beside where the whole family lived and have even written a book on the family. anything you want to know about them I can answer your questions.. BTW, K is not jAMES middle initial. Someone on the internet wrote that in to tell the difference between his father and him. None of the siblings had a middle name. Would love to converse.
