Malora Janice Corbin February 26, 1932 - March 26, 2015
Malora Janice Corbin, 83, of Oakland, died Thursday, March 26, 2015 at Cortland Acres Nursing Home, Thomas, WV. Born February 26, 1932 in Lead Mine, WV, she was the daughter of the late Delton Knotts, Sr and Louise (Shambaugh) Knotts. She was also preceded in death by her husband, Delmont G. Corbin;a brother, Clarence Knotts. Malora was employed by Garrett County Memorial Hospital as a registered nurse. She was a member of Oak Park Church of the Brethren, Oakland. She is survived by a son, Stephen Corbin and wife Carol, Oakland; a daughter, Sheryl Bustin and husband, Michael, Lititz, PA; four brothers, Delton Knotts, Jr., William Knotts and Norman Knotts, all of Parsons, WV, Mervin Knotts, Morgantown, WV; six sisters, Pauline Lowther, Adelene Snyder, Arlene Ramsey and Norma Jones, all of Parsons; Patricia Wilfong, Hambleton, WV; Judith Ternent, Lonaconing, MD; five grandchildren, Jessica Bustin, Allison Bustin, Katelyn Bustin, Johnathan Corbin and Jack Corbin. Friends will be received at the Newman Funeral Homes, P.A., 1100 Memorial Dr., Oakland, on Sunday from 12:00 to 2:00 p.m. Services will be conducted in the funeral home chapel on Sunday, March 29, 2015 at 2:00 p.m. with Pastor Carl Fike officiating. Interment will be in Garrett County Memorial Gardens, Oakland. Expressions of sympathy may be directed to Hospice of Garrett County, P.O. Box 271, Oakland, MD 21550.
