Biography

Betty Knott was born in 1781 in Newton, Cheshire, England, daughter of John Knott (1764– ) and Sarah Neild (1764– ).[1]

Betty (23) married Joshua Hall (25) (born before February 27, 1780 in Ashton-under-Lyne, Lancashire; son of Joshua Hall and Peggy (Shotton) Hall) on October 27, 1805 in St Michael's, Ashton under Lyne, Lancashire.[2] Their son was Edwin Hall (~1820– ).

In the 1841 census Betty (age 60) was in Prestwich Cum Oldham, Lancashire, England.[3]
