Biography

Eric Knight was born in England in 1897, the son of Frederic Harrison Knight and Marion Hilda (Creasser). He is best known for writing, "Lassie, Come Home". He married Dorothy Caroline Noyes Hall in 1917, and secondly Jere Brylawski in 1932. Serving in both World Wars, Eric Mowbray Knight was killed in a plane crash while serving in the United States Army Special Services in 1943.
