Dorothy L. (Kline) King was born on 21 Apr 1921 in Tanoma, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States, daughter of Charles Fredrick Kline (1895–1973) and Florence Odie (Kinter) Kline (1896–1994).

Dorothy had a sister, Marian Lorraine (Kline) Crago (1918–1999).

Dorothy died on 9 Jul 2014 in Indiana, Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States, aged 93.^[1] She was buried in Oakland Cemetery and Mausoleum, Indiana, Pennsylvania.

Dorothy married Jack Raymond King (born on 30 Sep 1918 in Indiana County, Pennsylvania, United States; son of Darwin S. King and Annabelle (Cribbs) King).

Obituary

Dorothy L. King, 93, of Indiana, passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2014, at her residence. A daughter of the late Charles F. and Florence Kenner Kline, she was born Apr. 21, 1921, in Tanoma. Mrs. King was a graduate of Saltsburg High School. She was a homemaker and a member of Zion Lutheran Church. Mrs. King enjoyed sewing, cooking, baking, and helping with and watching the grandchildren as they grew. She is survived by five children: Wayne King and wife Joan, of Manassas, VA; James King of Knoxville, TN; Dorothy Bothell of Ebensburg; Carolyn Kinter and husband Darwin, of Indiana; William King and wife Johanna, of Indiana; two brothers: Lyn Kline of New Alexandria; Lee Kline of Aspinwall; two sisters: Betty Elrick of Oregon; Janet Corr, of Verona; 10 grandchildren; seven great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Jack King; three brothers: Harry Kline, Floyd Kline, Ward Kline; a sister, Janet Corr and an infant sister. Services are private and will be held at the convenience of the family. Interment will be in Oakland Cemetery with Pastor Jane Strohl officiating. Robinson-Lytle, Inc., is in charge of arrangements.
