Probate for Owen Kinzey was filed on 29 June 1855 in New York by his widow Margaret. The records states that "the deceased departed this life at New York City on the 11th day of June." The value of Owen's estate was stated to be 2,500 USD. Surviving him were "his widow, and William Kinzey, Elizabeth wife of Hugh Paul, Rachel Kinzey, Margaret Kinzey, Emanuel Kinzey, Theodore Kinzey, Mary Kinzey and Molly Kinzey, his only children."^[4] Margaret was granted administration of Owen's estate on 30 June 1855.^[5]
