Alvin was the adoptive father of Elaine Dryfoos.

In 1900, Alvin Kingsbacher, age 11 was living in Allegheny Township, Allegheny, Pennsylvania with his parents, three sisters and two servents.[1]

In 1930, Alvin Kingsbacher, age 40 was living in South Pasadena, Los Angeles, California with his wife and adoped daughter.[2]

In 1940, Alvin Ringsbacker, age 50 was living in Pasadena Judicial Township, Los Angeles, California with his wife, Adopted daughter and two servents. John M Cuck, Butler age 35 and Mary L Cuck, Maid, age 29 both from Germany.[3]

On 10 Mar 1951, Alvin Kingsbacher died in Los Angeles, California[4][5] Cause of death is listed as hypostatic Pneumonia due to spinal paralysis and Carcinoma due to Lung and Metastases
