Mary (Polly) Kingman was born in 1777.
Kingman Polly & Daniel Hunt int. Aug. 9 1800, Braintree, Norfolk [1]
Polly Kingman (of Braintree) married Daniel Hunt (of Braintree) 27 November 1800 in Weymouth, Massachusetts [2].
In 1855 she was living with her husband Daniel in the household of her daughter Lucy (Hunt) Faxon in Weymouth [3].
She died in Weymouth in 1857 [4].
There were two Polly Kingmans born in Massachusetts in 1777. The birth record of the other Polly Kingman (1777-) records her as the daughter of Abner and Susanna (Leonard) Kingman. There are sufficient records found that establish that Polly Kingman as being married to Solomon Beals, not to Daniel Hunt.
The parentage of this Mary (Polly) Kingman is not so certain. No birth records have been found, but documents place her year of birth as being 1777, place of birth as Weymouth, and her death record states her father to have been John Kingman.
The only family that fits with these statements is that of John Kingman (1726-1813) and Elizabeth (Hollis) Kingman (abt.1737-1824) and she is placed here on that basis. Her mother would have been 40 at the time of her birth, an elderly primip for the time, but not impossible.
It is possible that her father's name as per her death record is wrong in which case her most likely parentage lies with John's son Henry Kingman (1750-) who is known to be having children in Weymouth in the 1770s.
