George was born in 1798. He was the son of Thomas Kingman and Judith Salmon.

The will of George Kingman late of Farrington Gurney in the county of Somerset who died 17 March 1878 at Farrington Gurney was proved at Wells by Henry Blinman, auctioneer and surveyor, the sole executor.
