Biography

John was born about 1706. He is presumed to be the son of Thomas Kingman.
If this is accurate he was born 1 Dec 1706 and baptised on 29 Dec 1706 at St Cuthbert's in Wells. ^[1] There is no record of his mother's name. Wells is about 8.7 miles from Farrington Gurney.

John Kingman married Mary Wickham in 1730 in Chewton Mendip, both of the parish of Farrington. ^[2]. His year and place of birth are estimated based only on this one fact.

He died in Farrington Gurney on the 22 Jan 1763/74 and was buried there 3 days later ^[3]
