Samuel Kingman was born in Weymouth, MA, in 1679. He was the son of John Kingman and Elizabeth Edson.^[1][2]

Samuel married Mary Mitchell in Bridgewater in 1696.^[1] They had the following children:^[2]

1. Susanna, b. April 12, 1697 ; m. Solomon Packard, 1718.
2. John, b. June 4, 1699; m. Sarah Kingman, Dec. 28, 1722.
3. Joanna, b. May 7, 1701; m. Akerman Pettengill, Sept. 17, 1723.
4. Jane, b. July 3, 1704; m. Isaac Kingman, June 13, 1730.
5. Mary, b. April 16, 1706; m. Benjamin Vickery, Dec. 1, 1739.
6. Samuel, b. May 13, 1710; m. Phebe Washburn, Feb. 3, 1737.

He wrote his will 3 Jun 1740 in Bridgewater, his estate was inventoried on the 14 May 1742 and went to probate on the 20th May ^[3][4]
