William King married Blanche Devine (b. 8 Aug 1913, Bakersfield, Ozark County, Missouri; d. 10 Apr 1996 (aged 82), Arcadia, Los Angeles County, California) in 1942. They were the parents of:

• Janice Eileen King Fraser (1944–1972)

William Herbert King died on 22 March 2010 in Arcadia, Los Angeles County, California. He was buried in the Forest Lawn Memorial Park in Glendale, Los Angeles County, California.^[3]
