Elizabeth Higginson and John Gerrish's daughter Sarah, b. Aug 4 1714, m. Nov 11 1736, at Salem, [[King-6243|Capt. Charles King, son of Samuel and Mehitable (Marston) King]] bap June 23 1712 at Salem, bur. May 16 1774 at Salem. [1]

5. Charles was baptized 22 June 1712 and died in Reading, Massachusetts on 13 May 1774. He was buried in Salem on 16 May 1774. He married Sarah Gerrish in Salem on 11 Nov 1736. She was born in Salem on 4 Aug 1714 and died there 1798. She was the daughter of John (son of Joseph) and Elizabeth Higginson Gerrish (Perley, History of Salem, III:372). [2]
