Hello, Savanna!

My name is Maynora Glenn, I go by May. I wanted to let you know that I haven't been able to check my WIKI account as I would like to and when I did I see that the wrong Philomene Lucille Guidry Patin was added to my great grandfather Aristide Becherman Patin. I was able to finally collect the correct information for my great grandmother who went by the name of Lucille. But I am having problems with removing the wrong parents of my great grandmother. Both my great grand parents were buried in the Bluff Cemetery, Evangeline, Acadia Parish, Louisiana near my grandmother Elenora Maynora Patin Higginbotham.

I am in hopes to reach out to you for help to remove them not because added, but because you are more skilled on this site than I. Thank you, Maynora

Thank you Savanna, for your comments. Nice to know we are related. There are some errors in the data about the children of Henri and Mertie Bigeaux Gaudet. I could not correct them so I added a comment on each of the siblings pages.

Congratulations on certifying to work on pre-1700 profiles! It’s VERY important to read and understand the Help:Pre-1700 Profiles page.

Primary sources should always be added to pre-1700 profiles at the time they are created. If you don't have a source for a pre-1700 profile, it would be best to ask for help in the G2G forum before creating the profile.

These profiles for deep ancestors are shared by many, and collaborating on them works best if we all follow the guidelines in the certification quiz.

Exploring the site is the best way to learn. One way to do that is to check out the drop-down menus on the top right side of your profile page. Finding a known ancestor and collaborating with the profile manager is another great way to start.

Questions? You can always use the G2G link in the Help Menu to find answers.

You mentioned that you don’t know much about your family tree yet. I assume you are new to genealogy. No problem! Every genealogist is a beginner at some point. Take your time, keep track of sources, and ask questions. Check here for tips.
