The Ireland Project (previously the Irish Roots Project) has now changed its structure into Teams. We require everyone with the Ireland Badge to be a member of at least one Team or Sub-Team and our google group.
See https://www.wikitree.com/wiki/Project:Ireland for details.
The Teams are :-
1. Categories Team
2. Counties Team
3. Managed Profiles Team
4. Membership Team
5. Profile Improvement Team
6. Topics Team
7. Diaspora
?
Can you let me know which team(s) youd like to join.
We realise the time has come to dissolve the UK Project in favour of the individual country projects of England, Scotland, Wales and Ireland.
We are checking in with all UK badge holders to find out which country project(s) you would like to be in so you can collaborate with other members, have the opportunity to select which team(s) you would like to join, and so we can ensure you have all the correct badges.
Please respond by PM to let us know which country project(s) you would like to be in. Please dont assume we know. We are effectively starting from scratch to make sure no one falls through the cracks.
Once you have done this, the Coordinator for Membership in the relevant country project(s) will be in touch to help get you situated.
How is it going so far. were the How-Tos pages helpful or did they leave you with questions?
Please ensure location data matches date of profile, avoid abbreviations, they cause confusion. Add full citations & links for sources as you go. From a profile wiki ID go to Research to find sources or to suggestion to review profiles in need of work
We want to help you learn about the site and the community, so hopefully you found all the different elements useful. I have page one, bookmarked as a reference page.
Questions click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

P.S. If links do not work in an email from WikiTree, try them from the comment section of your profile page
King-30592 and King-30506 appear to represent the same person because: These are both you. After the merge, we will both be profile manager but you can remove me as manager and leave me on the trusted list or remove me from the trusted list as well. We can discuss any privacy concerns and how you can control information.
I am adding you to several trusted lists immediately after I send this.
Thanks for volunteering! You are now a full member of the WikiTree community, and can start adding your family. Let me know if you have any questions.
Since WikiTree is different from other genealogy sites, we have a guided tour for new members at New Member How-To. Feel free to work through the How-Tos at your own pace.
Once you add profiles to WikiTree they become searchable and in my experience persons interested in these profiles will contact you and may provide further information to expand your family tree.
Great to have you on board, enjoy, and good luck growing your branches.
Just a note to say hi and to let you know that I'm available to answer questions about Wikitree. You can contact me by clicking the link to my name, then sending a private message or posting a comment on my profile page.
