Biography

Daniel King was born in 1730, the son of John King and Ann Edwards.[1] He married Mehitable, the daughter of John and Mary Dibble Edwards, in 1752.[1][2][3]

They lived in East Hampton and had 11 children. He died in 1805.[1]
The DAR states uncertainty of his service, and that he may have taken the Oath to King George in 1778. The patriot record lists a son Barzilla who married a Sarah Field. [5]
