Biography

Bob's childhood home was in Van nuys, Los Angeles County, California, more or less in the center of the San Fernando Valley. My parents were walnut ranchers; I grew up in a small frame house, built by my parents working together. They designed this house to fit between rows of walnut trees 50 Feet apart. As the trees grew, the house and yard became more shaded, very welcome in the heat of Summer.

Hi Bob,

Thanks for taking the Pre-1700 Quiz!

Because pre-1700 ancestors are shared by many descendants, working with members of the projects which coordinate them is essential. You can learn more about joining the community in How To #3 and in the Project FAQ.

Use the Pre-1700 Projects list to find one which best fits your research focus. Review the project pages for special guidelines and to learn how to collaborate with the project members.

Let me know if you have trouble finding projects which fit your focus. Click my name, then ask in the comment section of my page.

Hi,

To be able to add more names you will need to volunteer, you can do this from your Navigation page where you have already added your tags, then click on the green box that says "Save tags and volunteer" and we will then be able to confirm you as a member.

Volunteering means you will help us achieve our goal of joining all individual family trees into one global family tree.

I hope this helps! If you have any problems, let me know.

Take care
