OBITUARY: Mrs. Elizabeth McNatton died at the home of her daughter Mrs. Wm. Jordan Sr., at Coalfield Tuesday, July 7th, 1914, aged seventy five years, eight months and twenty-seven days.
Miss Elizabeth King, daughter of George and Marinda King, was born in Illinois October 10th, 1838. She came to Iowa with her parents when a small child. She was united in marriage to Wm. Hall January 1st, 1857. To this union was born eight children. Five having departed this life. The three who are still living are Mrs. Wm Jordan of Coalfield; Mrs. Hattie McNatton of Palmyra, Iowa, and Joe Hall of Des Moines. On May 13th, 1877, her first husband died. In later years she was married to Ben McNatton. To this union was born one child, Mrs. Hattie Coke, of Springfield, Illinois. She had for the past six months made her home with her daughter Mrs. Jordan. Short funeral services were held at the home of the daughter at Coalfield by Rev. Wm. Gott of Centerville last Wednesday afternoon The remains were shipped to Palmyra, Iowa, last Thursday morning for burial.
