Biography

Frank was born in 1871 in Georgia. He is the son of Daniel Key and Clelia Troup.

Frank enlisted in the US Army when he was 28 years old.^[2]

In the 1900 census Pvt Frank Key (age 28) was a private in Washington Barracks, Washington, District of Columbia.^[3]

In the 1920 census Frank (age 49) was the married head of household in Pedro Miguel, Civilians In Canal Zone, Panama Canal Zone.^[4]

In the 1930 census Frank (age 68) was the married head of household in Balboa, Balboa District, Panama Canal Zone, United States.^[5]

Frank died on 29 July 1931 and was buried in Corozal American Cemetery, Panama City, Panama. A Note of the source stated: "A 61 year old American man who had served as a Private with the Hospital Corps during the Spanish-American War and was working as a pump operator with the Dredging Division, Panama Canal Company."^[6]
