On 2 May 1961, he died, in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. He died of arteriosclerotic heart disease. He was living at 3219 Emerald Street, and was not married. He was a paperhanger. On 5 May 1961, he was buried, in the Beverly National Cemetery, Beverly, Burlington County, New Jersey.[5]
