Obituary

Robert Kennedy Dies Suddenly

Robert Kennedy, 64, of 672 Ostrum St., Fountain Hill, died suddenly in St. Luke's hospital at 5.40 p. m., Wednesday. He had been admitted to the institution earlier in the day.

He was born in Philadelphia May 6, 1873, a son of the late Mr. and Mrs. William Kennedy. He had been employed by the Bethlehem Steel Co., as a flagman, and was a member of the Steel Company Relief Assoc.

There survive his wife, Lucy (Diehl) Kennedy; four sons, Elmer D., Vernon J., and Reynold J., all at home, and Robert H., of Philadelphia; five daughters, Vera E., and Marion G., both at home; Mrs. Harold MacDonald, of Plainfield, N. J.; Mrs. Frances Neuciler and Mrs. John Gilbert, both of Bethlehem; one sister, Mrs. Harry Ford of Moorestown, N. J., and 11 grandchildren.

The funeral will be held from the late home, at 2 p. m. Saturday with burial announcements later. Friends may call on Friday night.[1]
