Biography
Laurie has been researching her family's genealogy for more than thirty years, and has been very lucky to get some of her lines back to the 1100s. Her main family lines of research have been in the South since right after the Revolutionary War, and their surnames are:
Maternal: Stowe/Stow/Stoe, Corbin, Willingham, Whitener, Wilson, Searcy, Lee. Paternal: Kemp/Camp, Hunt, Boring.
Before coming to the US, her families were in England, Scotland, and Ireland, and go back through the migration pathways north to the Vikings and Norsemen.
She's always looking for more cousins.
