Biography

Welcome to the Kellogg (Rolph)/Rowley/Hoover Ancestry:

My paternal grandparents, Barbour-1017 and Coe-2227, as well as my maternal GGM, Hoover-3274 share the same parentage before recorded history. All are descendents of "Vologases of Parthia I" (Of_Parthia-3) (abt.0025-abt.0078)" and Slavibor ze Pšova (abt. 0830 - aft. 0860) Pšov-3 and daughter/GGM Pšov-4. All three are also descendants of Potit Japhethite-1 (abt 300 - ?) who is grandfather to St. Patrick of Ireland, Ap_Calpurnius-1 (three times my GGU).

Both generals/Kings at the Battle of Hastings (1066), William I (Normandie-32) and Harold (Wessex-292) are triple GGFs. Charlemagne Carolingian (abt. 0748 - 0814) is also a triple GGF.

We are a relation to all English monarchs from 1016 A.D. and Scottish from 841. Many early English Kings (nine after 1066) starting with Æthelred "The Unready, King of England, Wessex-29 (866) are GGFs and 16 Scots Kings starting with Alpin Dungal "Pictish Thane of Fortrenn" of Scotland, MacEchdach-2, a triple GGF.

In 1215, Magna Carta was created by "rebel" Barons; a charter that would place King John and all of England’s future sovereigns within a rule of law. Of the 25 members of the Surety Barons, 16 were paternal GGFs and 8 were cousins. Paternal GGMs number 14 GGFs and 10 cousins, while maternal GGM, 1 GGF and 23 cousins.

Declaration of Independence: 31 of 56 signers are paternal GM cousins; 28 paternal GF; and 28 maternal GM..

I am cousin to 34 Presidents . My paternal GM is cousin to 33 U.S. Presidents and paternal GF is cousin to 32 presidents. My maternal GM is related to 30 Presidents.

I was born on February 23, 1944 in Berwyn, IL. I lived in 2 houses in Brookfield, Cook County, Illinois from birth until 1965 when I moved to North Riverside, Il with wife Janet L. Williams and soon son, Michael C. born April, 3, 1966. We moved to Lyons, IL in 1967. We divorced in 1969 and I moved back to Brookfield until 1978 when Downers Grove, IL was next. My employer relocated me in 1979 to Sacramento, CA for one year. Westmont, IL was the next home where I married Paula Green and had 2 children Jonathan born February 6, 1985 and Andrew, June 25, 1986. In 1992, I traveled to Moscow, Russia to adopt Valentina, born March 16, 1986 in Magadan, Russia; one of the first adoptees after collapse of Soviet Union. I was divorced in 1996 and soon moved to Henderson and then Oxford, NC. After the death of my mother in 2006, I went to Waveland and Bay St. Louis, MS where I spent 6 1/2 months doing Hurricane Katrina relief with a church group ( town on the Gulf Coast suffered a 30 ft wall of ocean surge). The next stop was Arlington Heights, IL for 6 years. The final stop, so far, is Floral City, FL.

I had 3 jobs. Stock boy in high school. Corn Products, Argo, IL in the analytical lab from 1963 to 1967. In 1967, my employer was Nalco Chemical - Chicago, Oak Brook and then Naperville, IL working in the labs, field technical service, marketing, sales, field technical service, marketing, special project and finally, product manager for joint venture, Nalco Fuel Tech. I retired in 1999.

Note: My legal name is Kellogg but "DNA" name is Rolph. My GGF was born Rolph but changed to Barbour; my GF changed to Kellogg.
