Floyd married Elizabeth Jane Beckner (born on 24 August 1924 in Aurora, Kane Co, Illinois USA; daughter of Perry Beckner and Emma Jane (Clerk) Beckner). Their son was Dane Richard Kellett (14 April 1943 – 30 January 2014).

In 1950, Floyd A (30), was a married head of household, Lithographer, in Colorado Springs, El Paso, Colorado, United States. [5]

Floyd died on 1 February 1994 in Concord, Cabarrus County, North Carolina, United States, aged 74.[6] [7] [8] He was buried in Salisbury National Cemetery, Salisbury, Rowan County, North Carolina, USA (plot: Section K, site 269).[9][10]
