Biography
Charles was baptised at St Peter and St Paul, Hanborough on 27th December 1818.[1] He was the son of Job Judd and Rose Messer. His father gave his occupation on the baptism register as shopkeeper.
In the 1861 census Charles (age 44), Baker, was the married head of household in Aston, Warwickshire, England.[2]

I suspect that the occupation of Charles' father was incorrectly entered in the baptism register: the line above also states shop-keeper. All other baptisms and the 1841 census all show shoemaker.
