Alfred Herbert Judd was born in 1879 in Cheltenham, Victoria, Australia, the son of Emma Addy (LePage) Judd and James Judd.^{[citation needed]}

He married Adelaide Lillian Redston in 1908 in Victoria.^[1] Their children were:^{[citation needed]}
