Born and bred in Burnley Lancashire . I moved to rural Northamptonshire 4 years ago . I was married at the age of 16 had two sons and divorced 27 years later . My partner Uve and I have been together for 7 years.
I received this family tree mostly completed by my paternal grandmother many years ago. My father took over and researched some more. Unfortunately my grandmother had quite a few of the facts confused with regards to our 19th century Irish relatives living in Bradford Yorkshire.
The confusion is hardly surprising when you look at that section of our tree , there are 3 brothers born in Ireland but living in the same street , all with lots of children , wives , daughter in laws , grandchildren and wider family lodging .
All the names are the same so lots of Patrick's, Michaels, Martins , Margaret's , Honorias, Honoras and Honors. There's also lots of families switching houses between each census. Its taken myself and my father quite some time to sort it out. We are now trying to sort out and add our Irish ancestors from Galway. Apparently there maybe some American connections with our Irish roots too.
Featured German connections: Marie is 33 degrees from Johann Wolfgang von Goethe, 36 degrees from Dietrich Bonhoeffer, 37 degrees from Lucas Cranach, 31 degrees from Stefanie Graf, 33 degrees from Wilhelm Grimm, 35 degrees from Fanny Hensel, 39 degrees from Theodor Heuss, 29 degrees from Alexander Mack, 45 degrees from Carl Miele, 29 degrees from Nathan Rothschild, 34 degrees from Hermann Friedrich Albert von Ihering and 33 degrees from Ferdinand von Zeppelin on our single family tree.
