Biography
Jacques Jouiel dit Bergerat was born in 1640 in Bergerac, Perigord on the Dordogne in France. (Today, it is named Bergerac, Dordogne, Aquitaine.) He married Marie-Gertrude Moral in 1676 in Trois Rivieres, Nouvelle France.[1]
Jacques died in 1716 in St. Francois-du-Lac.
