Biography

Joseph was born in 1793, the son of Jean-Baptiste Joyal and Mary Robidoux. ^{[citation needed]}

It seems he and his brother John were living in Swanton in 1820 (with no parents listed)^[1]

He lived with his wife Lydia and his son Joseph E (age 43) in Swanton, Vt in 1860^[2] Note - this is presumed to be the same though there were several JB Joyal males living in Swanton, including his brother.

He died in 1868 in Swanton and both of his parents were listed^[3]
