Biography
On 29 January 1892, Giovanni Cammarata, age 27 (b. 1864), postal conductor, resident of Corleone, son of Giuseppe, age 67 (b. 1824), broker, resident of Corleone, and Giuseppa Gagliano, housewife, resident of Corleone; and Filippo Jovino, age 61 (b. 1830), borgese, resident of Corleone, father of Lucia, age 23 (b. 1868), housewife, and daughter of Anna Maria di Palermo, housewife, of Corleone, publish the intention of Giovanni and Lucia to marry in Corleone. Witnesses are Giuseppe Battaglia, age 45 (b. 1846), merchant (trafficante) and Domenico Serra, age 24 (b. 1867), pastamaker (pastajo).[1]
Lucia Jovino, daughter of Filippo Jovino and Maria di Palermo, marries Giovanni Cammarata, son of Giuseppe Cammarata and Giuseppa Gagliano, on 27 February 1892.[2]
Her husband, Giovanni, and her brother-in-law, Michaelangelo Gennaro, are known members of the Mafia in Corleone.[3]
