Biography
Una was born in 1913. She was the daughter of Richard Jones and Olive Smith. She passed away in 1998.
Una married David William Low in 1939 (Vic Marriage Reg 16814). David and Una ran a carrying business. Early on they lived in Kew and their son Graham went to a Private School. Una's cousin Wilma Chaffey remembers huge aviaries at the back of their house and 100s of Budgerigars.
Una is obscured, but is named in a family photo, taken on her cousin Wilma's 60th Birthday. Eddie is also in the photo (see his bio) along with Syd Smith and his children Graham with Margie and Barbara with Eric.
Over the years Wilma didn't have a lot of contact with this family but saw Una in July 1997 at her Granny flat in Montrose.
Una is buried with her husband David at Lilydale Lawn Cemetery H Grave 355.

Wilma Agg remembered David and Una running a carrying business. Early in their marriage they lived in Kew. She remembers huge Aviaries at the back of their house and hundreds of Budgerigars!
Wilmas last visit to see Una was in July 1997 at her Granny Flat in Montrose.

I went with Mum on her last visit to see Una in 1997 and she was still a very strong minded and capable lady.
