"DANFORTH, MARY LOU of Lewisville, Texas, passed away June 29, 2013 at the age of 86. She was born in Birmingham, Alabama on April 2, 1927 to Mattie and Ernest Jones. Mary Lou married Charles E. Danforth Jr. on February 18, 1945 in San Jose California. Throughout her life she worked in retail sales. She was preceded in death by her husband Charles Danforth Jr; parents Ernest and Mattie Jones; son Michael Danforth; sister Sallie Denner; sister Margaret Short; sister Carol Turnbough, and brother J.D. Jones. She is survived by her sons Alan W. Danforth and Charles D. Danforth; three grandchildren and one great grandchild. Services will be in Alabama at a future date to be determined."^[1]

Mary Lou Danforth is buried at Jefferson Memorial Gardens East in Trussville, Jefferson County, Alabama, USA, Plot: Garden of Love.^[2]
