"Randle & Ida M (Nichols) Jolliff were wed at Rover, Missouri. They celebrated their 70th wedding anniversary on Nov. 10 1979 in Pascagoula, Mississippi. At this time they had 14 grandchildren and 18 great-grandchildren. They had one child to die at birth. Bertie resides in Crossville, IL, Bertha in Lafayette, Ind., Clydia in Columbus, Ks, Lloyd in Wentzville, Miss, Marylan and Barbara in Champaign, IL, and Vesta in West Plains, Mo."

"On their golden wedding anniversary, Mr. & Mrs. W.R. Jolliff of Pascagoula, Miss., former West Plains residents, entertained at an open house. Receiving with them were four of their six daughters and their two sons, Mrs. B.C. Barham and Mrs. E. N. Sears of Champaigne, Ill., Mrs. Charles Thompson of West Plains, Mrs. J.L. Henbest of Columbus, Kan., Wayne Jolliff of St. Louis and Lloyd Jolliff of Pascagoula. At the guest book were two of the Jolliffs' granddaughters, miss Sharon Jolliff of St. Louis and Miss Janet Sears of Champaigne. Cake and punch were served by Miss Barbara Myers and Miss Bobbie Jean Sims of Pascagoula. Unable to be present were the Jolliffs' twin daughters, Mrs. J. Robert Walker of Indianola, Ia., and Mrs. Roy P. Frazier of Greyville, Ill."

Funeral services for William Randle Jolliff, 90, Pascagoula, Miss., a former resident of Oregon County, were held at 10 am Feb 10 in Calvary Baptist Church, Pascagoula, Miss, with the Revs. Byron Mathis and Clark McMurray officiating. Mr. Jolliff died feb 7 in Singing River Hospital, Pascagoula, Miss. He was born Mar 1, 1890 in Rover, and married Ida Nichols, Nov. 28, 1910. Survivors include 8 children, Mrs. J. Robert (Bertha) Walker, Lafayette, Ind; Mrs. Roy P. (Berta) Frazier, Crossville, IL; Mrs. Joe L. (Clyda) Henbest, Columbus, Kan; Lloyd C. Jolliff, Pascagoula, Miss; Mrs. Charles L. (Vesta) Thompson, West Plains; Wayne Jolliff, Wentzville; Mrs. Quinn (Marilyn) Hood, Urbana, IL; Mrs. Bennie E. (Barbara) Barham, Champaign, IL; 14 grandchildren; 18 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Burial was in Jackson City Memorial Park under the direction of O'Bryant-O'Keefe Funeral Home."
