Biography

Harold Kenneth Johnson was born on January 12, 1900 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.[1] He was the son of Bert Leon Johnson and Alice Maud Cummings.[2] He was just a baby in his parent's home in Portland, cumberland, Maine in 1900.[3] He grew up in Portland, Cumberland, Maine. [4]

At age 17, he joined the army during WWI on October 14, 1918 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.[5][6]

at age 20 he was back in his parent's home in Portland.[7]

He married Alice Leslie Dyer (1905-1976) on September 24, 1920 in Scarborough, Cumberland, Maine.[2] They had one child.

  1. Jeanette Johnson (1920-1990) [8]

They divorced on ca December 31, 1924.

He married Muriel Eva Plowman (2) on November 10, 1927 in Maine.[9]

His wife Muriel died the following spring, May 10, 1928 in Portland, Cumberland, Maine.

Harold (29) married Dorothy Emily Perkins (3) on February 23, 1929 in Portsmouth, Rockingham, New Hampshire, United States.[10] They had 2 children.

  2. Kenneth Leon Johnson (1931-2007)[11]

They lived in Portland, Cumberland, Maine. [12]

In 1935-1940 they were in the same house in Portland, where his father was living with him and Dorothy and the children.[13]

His wife Dorothy Emily passed away on May 2, 1947, in Saco, Maine, at the age of 38. They had been married 18 years.

He married Eldora Annette Roberts (4) in Portland, Maine, on September 26, 1949, when he was 49 years old.

He died at the age of 66, on February 26, 1966 in Portland, Maine,[14] and was buried in the Pine Grove Cemetery in Waterboro, York, Maine.[1]
