Biography
Martha was born in 1919 in Ellery Center and raised in Jamestown, New York, graduating from Jamestown HS in 1937. She met Clayton and married him 17 January 1939 at Christ Lutheran Church, Bethesda, Maryland. They lived in Washington DC and Northern Virginia, and had 3 sons. She had a brother, John Herman "Hermie" born 1917 Pittsburg PA and her parents were Herman Johnson 1893 Sweden and Hilma Almgren 1888 Sweden. Martha passed away in 1986.[1]
