Genealogically Defined
Maud (Johnson) Nott is one of twins.

Maud May was born 11th May 1901 at 10 Braemar Road, Plaistow, daughter of Robert Johnson[1] & Caroline Elizabeth Johnson formerly Dennison. Father's occupation: Angle Iron Smith. [2]

She was baptised on the 20th December 1901[3], with her twin brother Alfred William, at St. Luke Victoria Docks, Essex, England, the daughter of Robert Johnson (Smith) and Catherine [sic] Johnson of 137 Malmesbury Road[3]

In 1911 she was resident at 135 Liverpool Road, Canning Town, Essex, England in 1911 and living with her parents: Robert & Caroline Johnson & siblings.

On the 25th January 1925 she married Robert Harry John Nott at the parish church of St. Mary, Whitechapel, London, England. Robert Harry John Nott, 23, bachelor, Fitter & Turner, son of Harry Nott (boiler Maker) & Maud May Johnson, 23, spinster, daughter of Robert Johnson (publican). Witnessed by R. Johnson, H. J. Day & Ivy E. Nott[1].

In 1939 she was resident at 19 Church Road, Erith, Kent, England. Living with husband Robert H. J. Nott & one (assumed) child {relationship not recorded}.[4]

Maud May Nott of 120 Bexley Road, Erith, Kent died on the 12th February 1986 at Queen Mary's hospital, Sidcup, Kent, England. Widow of Robert Harry John Nott (retired Engineer).[5]

She was cremated on the 21st February 1986 at Eltham Crematorium, Eltham, London, England[6].

Probate was granted on the 16th April 1986[7]
