William was born about 1815. He was the son of William Johnson and Mary Ann Beecroft. He was baptised at St. Mary’s Church, Hinckley. He was living in Burbage, Parish of Aston Flamville in the 1841 census with his parents and sister Elizabeth. He had a farm at near-by Wolvey across the county boundary in Warwickshire. He passed away in 20 April 1847 at Burbage, Leicestershire having never married. His death was registered in the Hinckley district. He was buried in St Botolph Churchyard, Burton Hastings, Warwickshire on 23 April 1847.
