Biography
Mariannie married Jonathan Higgins on 20 Oct 1863 in Shelby, Illinois, United States.[1][2]
In the 1870 census Mary (age 25) was in Neoga, Cumberland, Illinois, United States.[3]
Research Notes
Her maiden name is probably not Johnson, since that's the last name of the child she brought to the marriage, but there are no records that I can find of a previous marriage.
She died before 1878 when Lewis's second wife, Lucy Lacy, had a child, but I'm not sure when.
