She was enumerated in the household of her parents on the 1930 and 1940 United States Censuses. Her father was a Methodist Episcopal Minister. In 1930 the family were living in the church pastorium in Grove Hill, Clarke County, Alabama. In 1935 they were living in Castleberry, Conecuh County, Alabama. In 1940 they were living at 109 Pullman Street in Samson, Geneva County, Alabama and Nellie had completed 6 years of school.[4][5]
Marriages:
Nellie Eunice Johnson and Leslie Earl Seigle were married on 23 July 1945 in Montgomery County, Alabama in the chapel at Maxwell Air Force Base.[6][7] They were the parents of at least two children, both of whom were mentioned as survivors in her obituary.[2] Leslie Earl Seigle passed away in 1961.[8] Daughter Linda Lee Seigle has since died.
Nellie Johnson Seigle and Charles Swift Marshall were married on 21 December 1963 in Montgomery County, Alabama.[9]
In 1950, Nellie and her first husband, Leslie Seigle, were living in Auburn, Lee County, Alabama with their 2 children.[10]
Nellie retired as an accountant. At the time of her death she was a member of Gray Memorial United Methodist Church in Tallahassee, Florida.[2]
Nellie Eunice (Johnson) Marshall passed away on 29 April 2006.[3] Her last place of residence was in Tallahassee, Leon County, Florida.[1] No sources stated specifically where she died, but her death probably occurred in Tallahassee. She was buried in Memory Hill Cemetery, Dothan, Houston County, Alabama.[2][11]
