Reuben was born in 1804. He was the son of Pratt Jessup and Hope White. He passed away in 1880.
Reuben Jessup and Elizabeth George were married 22 June 1842 at the Easton Friends Meeting House, West Newton, Decatur Township, Marion County, Indiana. Elizabeth was the daughter of dt. Jesse & Mercy George. Jesse George was listed as deceased at the time of Reuben and Elizabeth's marriage according to Fairfield Monthly Meeting, Hendricks County, Indiana, meeting minutes.
Another daughter - Elizabeth M. Jessup, twin sister to Phebe C. Jessup, born 23 September 1851 - no further information in Honey Creek-New London Friends Meeting, Howard County, Indiana records.
